世界银行批准几内亚-马里高压输变电网项目提供优贷和赠款

 

据海外媒体《Devdiscourse7月15日报道,世界银行将批准几内亚马里高压输变电网项目提供总额为3700万美元的优惠贷款。贷款偿还期为38年其中含6年的宽限期。

此外,世界银行还将通过其下属机构-国际开发协会(International Development Association,IDA)向几内亚提供3750万美元的赠款向马里提供450万美元的赠款。2笔赠款也用于几内亚马里输变电网项目。

几内亚马里225KV输变电网项目的发展目标是增加几内亚东部的电力供应。该项目将促进几内亚和马里之间的电力互联互通,并增加几内亚对其他西非电力池国家的电力出口能力。

该项目总金额为4.17亿美元,其中,在几内亚境内线路段的造价为3.25亿美元。资金来源如下:

非洲开发银行la Banque Africaine de Développement,

伊斯兰开发银行la Banque Islamique de Développement,

欧盟l’Union Européenne,

欧洲投资银行la Banque Européenne d’Investissements,

西共体开发和投资银行la Banque d’Investissement et de Développement de la CEDEAO,

西非开发银行la Banque Ouest-Africaine de Développement

几内亚政府和马里政府 les Gouvernements de la Guinée et du Mali.

 

其中,非洲开发银行(BAD)被指定为牵头协调银行。

几内亚政府为该项目提供配套资金1150亿几郎(约合1300万美元),主要用于征地拆迁补偿费用。

World Bank approves IDA grant of USD 37 mn for Interconnection project in Guinea, Mali

 

The development objectives of Guinea-Mali Interconnection Project for Western Africa are to increase electricity supply to the Eastern part of Guinea.

World Bank will provide Guinea and Mali loan for the Interconnectional Project. The loan will have a 38 years old maturity and a grace of 6 years.

 

International Development Association (IDA) will provide a grant of USD 37.5 million to the Republic of Guinea for the project. IDA will Provide grant of USD 4.5 million to Mali for the project.

 

The development objectives of Guinea-Mali Interconnection Project for Western Africa are to increase electricity supply to the Eastern part of Guinea. The project will also enable electricity trade between Guinea and Mali, and increase Guinea’s electricity export capability towards other West African Power Pool countries.

 

This project has two components, the first component is the Power Transmission Infrastructure, which has the following subcomponents Construction of the Transmission Interconnector and implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Plans and Resettlement Action Plans.

 

The second component is the Implementation Support and Capacity Building, which has the following three subcomponents Implementation Support, Capacity Building, and Trade Facilitation.

 

The project will help increase electricity supply to the Eastern part of Guinea and will enable electricity trade between Guinea and Mali. The project will also increase Guinea’s electricity export capability towards other West African Power Pool (WAPP) countries.
